ZigBee Applications with dedicated middleware

The ZigBee Middleware Suite developed by EDALab facilitates the development of applications for Networked Embedded Systems such as Smartphones, PDAs, Set Top Box, Videophone, etc.. that need to communicate with a network of sensors based on ZigBee/802.15.4.

The development applications can be done through a set of APIs that allow the designer to work with a WSN ZigBee/802.15.4 abstraction framework. The main included features are:

  • Provides "pure ZigBee APIs" and "high-level APIs" for data exchange with the WSN.
  • It has a local database for storage of primary data.
  • Allows you to manage data in XML format by providing an API for parsing and managing XML information.
